Assignment 2 - Final Submission Gif of animation: Link to individual frame pdf:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZHCmfNlK9H11WSDNp78mskeE5L6jXEfb/view?usp=sharing Original sketches of sack in different positions:

I have now made it so when the sack's right leg is in the recoil position his whole body hits the ground. I have also made the sack get up from the recoil position slower, both these changes emphasise the sack's weight and make it appear heavier. I have also emphasised the crease in the sack's "waist" when it twists to accentuate it's movement.

Changed the spacing between each frame to make its movement believable.

I have filled in the gaps between the key positions with in-betweens. Spacing needs work as the flour sack slides across the screen rather than walks.

In regards to the image that showcased the positions of a common walk cycle, I have drawn my flour sack in the positions of recoil, passing, high-point and contact to get an idea of its movement and create a framework for the in-between drawings.

Assignment 2: Motion Design Project - Flour Sack in Action The task of assignment 2 is to animate a flour sack that either walks or runs. In preparation for this animation, we have studied the principles of animation, such as  staging, pose-to-pose, timing, as well as appeal while also emphasising believability. The picture below show the elements of a walk cycle being contact, recoil, passing and highpoint. The other picture shows examples of a drawn flour sack. These two images will aid in creating an animated walking flour sack.
